We arrived in our flat in The Gasworks, right behind Google, at around noon. Google paid for a driver, Val, to take us from the airport to the flat in a sweet Mercedes-Benz. The flat is gorgeous and there's plenty of room for visitors! After feigning the ability to fight jet-lag, we both passed out, and woke up at 4 pm, when we headed off to TGIF for some beers with our new co-workers. Afterwards, we headed off to Ocean's, the local pub. Later, Theresa makes fish and chips run at Lido. Yes, within10 hours of arrival, she's already had 2 beers and some really greasy fish n chips.
